The first and last pages of this sweet board book are scenes around the Christmas tree, with presents, stockings, a little nativity set on the mantle, children and pets snuggled together, reading with mom, or asleep on the couch with Christmas cookies laid out for Santa. So all of the familiar Christmas fun is acknowledged. But these pages also remind that it is Jesus' birthday and in sweet rhyme, they thank God for Christmas, and for Jesus. And in between is the story of the angel coming to Mary, the road to Bethlehem, Mary and Joseph needing a place to stay, the Star, Jesus's birth in the stable, the animals around the manger, the shepherds in the field, and the three kings. All in adorable rhyme and just perfect for little ones. I love all of the Snuggle Time board books, with Cee Biscoe's darling illustrations. This is a wonderful book to help teach your child about the greatest gift that came at Christmas so long ago.
This is my absolute favorite children’s author. I have ordered (& read) all of her books and have pre-ordered the ones being published in 2019! The books are perfect for the grandkids – & also wonderful for the adults who read them to the children! They are extremely well written and the illustrations are adorable! I’m buying copies for all the kids on my Christmas list this year!
I love the snuggly feel of this book. You can hunker down with your favorite 'little' and enjoy the story of Christmas together in a way that THEY can understand. I have used this book for our church Children's time and have given it to new parents as a gift for their child at baptism. My only regret is that Glenys didn't write these until AFTER my grandchildren were too old to love them!
Even though my brand new niece will only be 3 months old this Christmas, I cannot wait to give her this "Snuggle Time Christmas Stories"; I know her 2 older sisters will read it to her! Perfect book for little ones as they will enjoy the rhymes about heaven's gift of a baby, Jesus. Love the sweet faces illustrated by Cee Biscoe too...the perfect gift for my Alethea Grace!

I bought both Snuggle TIme Christmas Stories and Snuggle TIme Psalms. Simple rhyme patterns make for a rhythmic read. Inclusion of Bible verses is important to me. This grandma loves all the Snuggle Time books!
